ATC have just launched the EL50 Anniversary Active Loudspeaker, just in time for the 2026 Bristol Hi-Fi Show! We’ll have the pleasure of listening to them over the weekend, and they are sure to be one of the highlights of this year’s show.
The EL50 have been created for audiophiles and music lovers, who want high performance, refined design, and the uncompromising engineering quality that ATC are famous for.
This is the latest evolution of the legendary ATC 50 loudspeaker; combining ATC’s discrete active tri-amp technology with ATC’s renowned in-house drive units and a newly developed elliptical curved cabinet that optimises radiation from the mid and high-frequency drivers.
The design of the EL50 draws inspiration from the ATC EL150, released in 2006 as the first ATC loudspeaker to feature an elliptical enclosure and originally conceived by Billy Woodman. Refined leather detailing on the front baffle and beautiful hand-selected veneers complete the design, elevating both its visual presence and craftsmanship.
