The Progression Neo Preamplifier is built around a signal path that begins with the same JFET input-stage topology used in D'Agostino's flagship Relentless Preamplifier. Placing these devices at the very start of the circuit reduces noise before the signal travels anywhere else — a decision that reflects a broader philosophy behind the Neo Series: bring the technical standards of D'Agostino's highest-tier designs into a more accessible platform without compromise.

The power architecture has been substantially revised. A custom analogue transformer — oversized and potted for vibration isolation — operates at 66% higher rail voltage than its predecessor. That headroom translates directly into dynamic composure, low-level resolution, and the kind of quiet background that lets the music speak clearly.

For day-to-day use, this is D'Agostino's most connected preamplifier to date. A bi-directional remote with an integrated LCD display mirrors the front panel in real time. A dedicated iOS app enables Bluetooth control from a phone or tablet. An optional Digital Streaming Module adds optical, Ethernet, and Wi-Fi connectivity.
