Vesper 3 delivers a similarly elegant and compact design as a three-way loudspeaker, bringing further dynamic scale and bass depth. It is the end result of a three-year program to develop a new loudspeaker, underpinned by extensive research and simulation. The science showed YG Acoustics what was possible, and its ears told YG Acoustics that it was real.
It uses YG Acoustics’ hybrid Lattice tweeter, in combination with 18 cm (7.25”) midrange and 22 cm (8.75”) bass drivers, each with advanced motor designs and YG’s proprietary aluminum cones. Linking them is a third-generation Ultracoherent crossover, benefitting from proprietary YG components and the new understandings gained in the Titan research program.
The result is a loudspeaker with the Carmel’s poise, precision and elegance, coupled with even greater authority. Music unfolds in a broad, deep space, with genuine weight and effortless dynamics. The finest details survive intact within the largest climaxes. As with the Carmel, the scale of sound seems to belong to a far larger loudspeaker.
